In the 50 years of development and growth, The Langlois Company has moved four times. Each move was made in order to accommodate upgraded manufacturing equipment and to expand our product lines. Our entire company has been built around keeping the customers we have and expanding the types of products that we can serve them with. You can count on us for service and quality. History
The Langlois Company was founded by Alan W. Langlois in 1950. His goal was to create a business that could manufacture high quality food products that were simple to prepare and were reasonable in price. He based his company's values on the same values he preached at home: Honesty, Integrity, Fairness, and Loyalty. These values are still an important part of The Langlois Company's day to day business to this day.
Soon after starting The Langlois Company, Alan brought his brother, Bob Langlois into the business to help him with product development and quality control. Alan and Bob were a good team, both veterans of war, both children of the depression. They knew that there would be a lot of hard work ahead of them. Through the next 20 years, The Langlois Company grew to become a major manufacturer in the California market. In the early 1970's, Alan's two sons, Dick and Jim joined their father and uncle in the business. Alan and Bob both retired in the 1980's, leaving the day to day operations to Dick and Jim.The business continued to grow and expand. In the early 1990's, Dick and Jim moved The Langlois Company to the City of Mira Loma, which is located in Riverside County, just southeast of Ontario Airport. Tragedy struck The Langlois Company in 1998 when Jim Langlois was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Jim passed away in 1999, however, before The Langlois Company lost Jim, they gained Jim's two sons, Jeff and Adam. Jeff
and Adam represented the 3rd generation of Langlois to join the business. Today, The Langlois Company is still a leading manufacturer in the Foodservice Market.
The Langlois Company looks forward to continued growth and expansion in hopes that more generations of Langlois will continue to come into the business and help it grow.
